PRESS RELEASE: Scituate Republicans Elect New Members
Scituate – The Scituate Republican Town Committee nominated and elected four new members to the Committee at their October monthly meeting,Chairman Janet Fogarty announced. Michael Scott, Larry Alvarez, and Bart Nuboer, and James Bailey were voted in by the Committee.
“We’re seeing an increase in the number of Republicans and Independents who are interested in getting involved”. Fogarty said. “it seems people are realizing they can no longer sit on the sidelines and not be heard on Beacon Hill. There’s only so much people can tolerate and sometimes it means getting to this crisis level to finally say enough is enough.”
Fogarty said that she and the Committee are very excited about the enthusiasm of the new members and welcome all Republicans and unenrolled voters to join the committee at their next meeting on Tues evening, Nov 3rd.
